The good news:The Iqua brand is less known in the United States but is quite popular in Europe. Iqua claims you can use the headset for 12 hours without recharging. We don't know enough people to spend 12 hours on the phone, so we gave up after 3 hours and let the headset recharge in the sun. We never ran out of battery life, so who knows, maybe the headset will run forever!

Consider also:As many reviews have indicated, there is sometimes an echo. Also, this headset also doesn't perform well in the wind.

Bottom line:The Iqua Sun is the most eco-friendly and responsible headset choice. You could theoretically have infinite stand-by time with this headset as it recharges in both natural sunlight and light indoors. Features and sound quality are in-line with other headsets of this size and weight.

Delivers as promised, except 1 big thing

a friend of mine bought this headset and told me about it and i thought all that the solar power stuff probably wasn't true. when i got the headset, i charged it once then left it on for the next 7 days. as of today i haven't recharged the headset. that's pretty cool :) the sound quality was good too. the thing that sucks about this headset is that it doesn't fit comfortably. it falls out of your ear and the ear piece is waaaaaaay too big. wish they would have fixed that because otherwise i think this headset is great.

No Charger!!!

Well, after the initial charge, you don't need the charger. It says it even charges in inside light, and so far, it hasn't run out on me! I love not having to worry about plugging it in. It's pretty comfortable and the sound was decent too. I do need to use the ear loop, because without it, it tends to pop out of my ear. But I do have small ears.

Cool Idea

I bought this headset because it has a solar panel, that's so cool. You don't use it to initially charge it, but to keep it in standby. It's not even big, I was expecting it to be huge, but it's normal size. The sound quality is okay, but that's not why I went with this headset .
