The good news:I believe I'm correct in claiming that the 925 has received the highest number of positive reviews of any headset ever sold: ease of use, Bluetooth pairing, Bluetooth range, sound quality, noise-canceling. Also, we think Plantronics had a big win with the way this headset fits into your ear. No ear loop is required because the rubber casing over the earpiece keeps the headset firmly in place as you talk.

Consider also:The Jawbone 2 headset is a little more effective at reducing outgoing background noise in noisy environments.

Bottom line:If a better miniature Bluetooth headset is invented, we'll recommend it to you. In the meantime, we recommend the Plantronics 925.

The service was great. Everything came on time & in great condition. The product has not been used yet. It is a Christmas gift.

Good product

Works well as promised. Excellent clarity, easy pairing, decent sound isolation. Manual a little weak on how to put on the eargels (suggested "gently press" didn't quite cut it!) and fitting.

Not sure what the "review title" means

I love the Plantronics headset I bought. I can hear so much better than I could with my Jawbone and it holds a charge much longer. It fits my ear well and is comfortable. This was a great recommendation from your website although I didn't see an option to order a pink or gold one - no big deal, pink doesn't look too good with coral, my favorite color, anyway. The other thing I notice is that people I'm talking to don't continually ask me to repeat things so they must be hearing me well. I did not get a discount on shipping - the coupon offering wasn't applied - but maybe because I ordered overnight delivery. The product came just as promised plus I got a brand new toothbrush which is a clever idea!

Jaw Bone stopped making ear loops for there original head set, this really, Really made me mad! The replacement cost for new loops sent me for a loop! Too much and they broke too easy! So in the trash it went with the 2 each chargers!! What a waist…I vowed never to buy another Jaw Bone again… So after using a wired head set for a few months I finally started looking for a new Blue Tooth unit. After doing a Google search i found Blue Truth. Com. i really like the reviews of the Co & customers for the BT s they sell. Note: (That pretty much sold me on this head set.) I am very pleased with the 925 and was very surprised by the tooth brush gift sent with my order. I have been using Radius tooth brushes for 15 years & needed a replacement. Once u use them you can never go back to a regular tooth brush! The thing I like about Blue Truth is that they seem honest about what they are selling, not much of that out there these days.

How's the sound quality...really?

Hi, Actually I haven't got this headset yet but trying to make up my mind if I should go with this one or the Jabra BT530 which also has received great user comments when surfing the Internet. Considering the great and stylish looks of this one and also the smart case where you can actually charge the headset I'm leaning towards this one but when looking at the sample sound clips here on this site I'm honestly not impressed but rather the other way around but still almost everyone says the sound quality is great when reading the user comments - can someone please comment on this? Is it just the sample sound clips that are low quality or is this how the headset actually sounds in real life? In comparison I found this review of the Jabra Jabra BT530 which also hold a sample sound clip and to me this one sounds FAR superior to the Discovery 925 clips here on this site. However with the Jabra I don't get the same good looks, I get an older version headset and nor do I get the smart rechargeable case...I'm really having hard to decide which one to go with here! Thanks alot in advance for any comments on my questions!!

First of all, bluetruth.com customer service reps are the absolute best I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never owned a blue tooth headset and had many questions. I also spoke with Plantronics tech and customer service reps and they were superb. I didn’t have time to mess around with headsets that don’t work, sending them back, etc. I am, however, taking the time to write a review in my gratitude for bluetruth.com and to help others in their purchase decision. I narrowed my choices to the Plantronics 925, BlueAnt z9i, and the Jawbone 2. I spoke to owners of the Jawbone 2 and wasn’t too impressed, plus reviews were hot and cold for the price you pay. Because of the poor sound quality recorded in the ‘busy street’ test call posted on this site, I was almost going to buy the BlueAnt z9i. Then, I read a review where a customer modified his Plantronics 925 with a windscreen from an etyBLU headset, which he said had a tremendous effect on reducing wind noise. I decided to buy the 925 after talking to bluetruth.com reps who owned it and taking into account it has a charging/carrying case which no other set has (or I didn't find, anyway). I wanted to be able to protect it while on the go and the cordless charging case is a real bonus. It’s easy to pair, easy to charge with 3 options, battery life is 5 hours as stated (I timed it based on two long phone calls), the ear tip fit my ear perfectly without irritation and it does not fall out. The indicator lights and tones are cool if you want all the information they give you (I don’t). I’d say the range is about 20-25 feet before the call starts breaking up. The call control button works easily; the volume control button is not so easy (I just use my phone if I have to adjust volume). However, the audio quality is so clear I hardly ever have to adjust up except when outdoors. The sound quality is excellent in the car and indoors, except when I was on a busy street and/or with wind. So, I bought the windscreens from Etymotic’s website. They sell an inexpensive pack with 1 large and 1 small windscreen, yet you only need the small size. I cut the windscreen in half, because you only need the end of the Plantronic’s mic boom to be covered, and voila! Even at the bay shore in 15mph wind blowing in my face with cars zooming by, I could hear every word spoken and my callers didn’t miss a word from me. I also can fit the headset back into the charging case without having to remove the windscreen. Bottom line is, this set works for my intended purpose: To hear other callers and be heard indoors, in the car, on a busy street, and in windy conditions (with modification noted) with comfort, ease of use and on the go re-charging ability. Note to those who complain of audio quality with this set: Plantronic’s user guide states, “Audio quality is also dependent upon the device with which the Earpiece is paired.” My guess is most audio quality complaints with this headset are due to this fact. My suggestion before you return it is to try pairing it with one or two friend’s different model phones and test it to see if it’s really the headset or your phone.

I have no idea why this is so highly rated. It is every bit as bad if not worse than the tests sound. The 510 is fantastic this is no followup. Also the charger is a waste and the headset is difficult to use.

My business demands that I have a hands free device for my phone, for safety when driving and especially one that cancells out road and background noises. I did my homework to find just the right bluetooth device for my phone and was pleased to find your web site. It was easy to navigate and informative. I just recently received my new Discovery 925 headset and was pleased to find it as described and simple to use. I had a another bluetooth headset but I disliked having to use a hook to attach it to my ear. The headset never stayed in place and the hook occassionally popped off, and that device cost me $100.00. The Discovery 925 does not come out of the ear accidently, even when shaking my head. I like that and it's comfortable and lightweight too! The price was very reasonable for a top-of-the-line headset. The turn-a-round, from purchase to possession was excellent. I have book marked this site for future purchases. My first bluetooth headset in 3 years

I'm not a big fan of blue tooth. Mostly because the early models for scratchy, very short distance, and didn't come close to meeting the quality of a wired headset. Today, I can't find any good phones with a wired jack so I finally went out and bought this headset after much research. I've only had it a few days but so far, so good. Sounds quality is good, design is great, battery is great. My only concern is that the fit might not work for me over a few hours. Its a bit tight and uncomfortable but I'm open that I'm wearing it wrong. Bluetruth rocks!

The only problem I have is that, for some reason, none of the ear gel ear-tips fit! The smallest one is a bit too large for my ear, and my ears are normal size, I believe. With all the great technology and styling effort your engineers put into this product, one would think that you wouldn't scrimp on having a few more options with the ear tips. One size smaller would work perfectly for me. I would buy this product again, but would not recommend it to my friends until you came out with 4 or 5 different sized gel ear tips.

We keep going through Bluetooths. Always don't like something. My wife HATES an in-ear headset. Having said that, she loves this one. And she's hard to please. Great sound quality and comfort.

Great little guy

Charges fast! I was surprised when I first plugged it in and the battery pack separately. That pack is great and I know it'll be a life saver. People this one is pricey but you get every penny. Sometimes it goes in and out a bit but that's because of a wall or interference.

Very lightweight & easy fitting without the bulky over ear nonsense. Good quality sound (could be louder) and great range. The carrying/charging case is a bit hard to fit into without careful attention to the mini USB, but overall I'm very happy.

I purchased this for my boss, he has tried several different types of Bluetooth headset and has not liked any of them, he loves this one and has asked me to purchase more for his staff.

This unit loses connection to the mobile phone regularly. It is extremely uncomfortable. I am a technician that is around servers and other high noise surroundings this unit offers no noise-cancellation and other people hear the noise. I have experienced cutoff of conversation, but can not pinpoint it to the headset. I will be sending this unit back.

Bluetooth review

This Bluetooth is very comfortable and I don't have a hard time hearing other people and according to my friends on the other end it has a very clear sound. The only problem I have is sometimes getting it into the charging case, but I think with time this will become easier

Great design and great sound quality

I just received my 925 after returning many other models and it is one of the best I have seen. First the look really makes it a one of a kind and it is the first headset I don't have the volume to the maximum all the time. A little pricey, but definitely worth the money.

It has good sounds but I wasn't comfortable with the fit.
