The good news: The WEP870 has an easy-to-read battery indicator that is really helpful. Add the ability to convert between stereo and mono modes and you've got a headset that would be a perfect gift.

Consider also: Testing in extreme environments resulted in typical Bluetooth results. However in most uses the WEP870 is perfect.

Bottom line: Cool features at an affordable price.

Sure, this works like a pretty good Bluetooth headset, but why I really like it is for the music. This is a really good pair of earbuds, they're wireless, and the lanyard lets you take them out of your ears and just hang them down. The not-so-great: you'll be wearing the headset part as a necklace of sorts, which is pretty lame, and I haven't figured out how to make it look cool.
