The good news:Like the other headsets int he Voyager series, the Voyager 835 has excellent sound quality and is easy to use.
Consider also:Multi-point technology allows you to pair it to more than one device. On the downside, the 835 only comes with one fixed ear bud, which some people may find uncomfortable for long use.
The bottom line:The Voyager series of headsets have always been good and reliable, and the Plantronics Voyager 835 seems to fit that bill.

Voyager 835

I have had this headset for about 6 months now and rarely used it. Instead I used my Plantronics Discovery 925. The Discovery 925 has great sound but needs a discrete ear loop. I paid list price for it and am nervous it may fall out of my ear a get damaged. That's why I purchased the Voyager 835. The ear hook gives me security knowing it will not fall out of my ear and become damaged. The one thing that kept me from using it more often was the low sound on my end. Well... just today I discovered that the low sound was due to a setting on my phone. When in a call I adjusted the volume on my phone and it adjusted the volume with my Voyager 835. I actually had to turn it down it was so loud! Maybe this is why others are having audio problems?? With the audio problem resolved I prefer this headset over my Plantronics Discovery 925!!! BTW... I can hear when the noise canceling feature kicks in. The headset automatically raises and lowers the volume to suite to environment! That is a wonderful feature of Plantronics Audio IQ!!! I did pay list for this headset too as I did the Discovery 925 and although I could have purchased it for a lessor price (didn't know at that time the street price was much lower) I am very happy with my Voyager 835.

Sturdy but poor sound

I really like the construction quality on this headset, it feels really sturdy like it's made from strong materials. As far as sound goes, I have had a lot of complaints about the tinny sound.
